Frequently Asked
Surface Repair Questions, Answered
Yes — all Surface Pro models from Pro 3 to Pro 12. We first test whether the fault is the panel, the digitiser or the display cable, so you are not sold a screen you do not need. Most Surface Pro screen replacements are completed the same day if the device reaches us before midday. Screen repairs start from AED 450 with a 90-day warranty.
We are an independent specialist Surface workshop, not a Microsoft-authorised centre. That means we can repair devices Microsoft has declared out of service support, and we repair at component level rather than swapping whole units. We fit genuine and OEM-grade parts and tell you which you are getting before we start.
Most screen, battery, kickstand and charging port repairs are completed the same day, provided the device reaches us before midday and the part is in stock. Board-level work such as liquid damage or logic board repair typically takes 2–3 days. We tell you a realistic timeframe at diagnosis, before you commit.
No. The diagnostic is free and there is no obligation to proceed. We tell you what is actually wrong and what it will cost, and you decide from there. You can walk in to Concord Tower or book a free Dubai collection and we will diagnose it on the bench.
We collect free from anywhere in Dubai — our own driver runs a daily route, so it is usually same-day or next-day. Outside Dubai we arrange insured courier collection from every other emirate, with insurance covering the full device value. You are welcome to walk in to Concord Tower, Office 45 instead.
Concord Tower, Office 45, 10th Floor, Al Sufouh 2, Dubai — in the Dubai Media City area. Open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 9pm, closed Sundays. Parking is available in the tower. If getting here is inconvenient, we collect and deliver free anywhere in Dubai, and by insured courier from other emirates.
Usually, yes. A completely dead Surface is most often the battery, the charging circuit, or the board — and all three are repairable. Do not leave it on charge hoping it recovers, particularly if it has been near liquid. Bring it in switched off and the diagnostic will tell you which of the three it is, free.
Yes, and it should be dealt with quickly. A swelling battery bows the chassis and will eventually crack the screen from the inside, turning a battery job into a battery-and-screen job. Bring it in switched off and do not charge it. Battery replacement starts from AED 300 with a 90-day warranty.
Every repair carries a 90-day warranty covering both the part we fitted and the work we did. If the same fault returns within that window, bring it back and we deal with it. The warranty covers our repair, not new accidental damage or a different fault that develops later.
In most cases, yes. On Surface models with soldered storage the recovery is done at board level, which is why you should stop using the device immediately rather than repeatedly attempting to boot it. Data recovery starts from AED 400 and we assess the likelihood honestly before you commit.
Yes. We run consolidated collection, one invoice, and priority turnaround for businesses with Surface fleets, so staff are not waiting on individual tickets. We also offer scheduled battery health checks and firmware servicing so failures are caught before someone loses a working day.
Yes, and this is a common one. The camera ribbon sits underneath the display panel, so it is easily pinched or left unseated during a screen replacement. We reopen the device, reseat or replace the ribbon, and check the microphone at the same time since they often share the assembly.
